Unscrambled this would be "wedding". Set a time limit of around five to ten minutes for guests to unscramble each word. The guest who can unscramble the most words in the time limit or whoever finishes all of them first wins the game.

Another bridal shower game to play at bridal showers uses the names of famous couples throughout time. Pass out sheets of paper with one half of some famous couples listed on them to each guest. For example, you could use Brad Pitt as one of the halves. The other half would be Angelina Jolie. This is what your guests would need to write on their sheet. Some other ideas to use would be Popeye and Olive Oyl, Humphrey Bogart and Lauren Bacall, and Homer and Marge Simpson. Try to come up with as many famous couples as you can. Other bridal shower game ideas to play for your wedding shower include the "don't say or do game". This is a great ice breaker game especially when the guests are only familiar with the bride. Each guest should be given a clothes pin to attach to their clothing in an accessible place. Tell the guests that there are three words that they are not allowed to say. These words could be "bride," "groom," and "wedding". When a guest hears another guest say one of these words, they can demand the other guest's clothes pin. At the end of the wedding shower, the guest who has collected the most clothes pins wins the game and should be awarded with a prize.

Purse scavenger hunt is another game that is lots of fun. Provide guests with a list of items that you might find in a woman's purse. As the guest finds these items in her purse, she marks it off her list. The guest who has the most items from the list is the winner of this bridal shower game.

An adaptation of the game Memory can be a lot of fun if played as a bridal shower game. Show the guests a tray that has several items on it, at least twenty or so that are wedding or romance related. Let each guest look at the tray for a few seconds, ten to fifteen would be sufficient. Once everyone has had the opportunity to look at the tray, put it out of sight. Guests are then to list as many items as they can remember from the tray on a sheet of paper. Set of time limit of five or ten minutes for this process. The guest who can list the most items from the tray within the time limit wins the game.

One last suggestion for fun bridal shower games to play at your bridal shower is herbs and spices. Number ten paper cups from one to ten. Place each cup on a table or tray. Put a small amount of ten different spices or herbs into one of each of the cups, make sure it is enough that you can smell them. Have each guest smell each one of the cups. Have them make a list from one to ten on their sheet of paper and write down what they think each spice or herb is. The guest who gets the most hebs and spices correct and by the correct cup number wins the game.
